Marvel fans can participate at the Marvel’s Captain America Festival in Singapore from 21 to 24 April 2016 at the Event Plaza at the Promenade, Marina Bay Sands. Catch the cast members Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and Joe Russo, one of the directors for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War.
Enjoy exciting activities including a cosplay competition, photo contest, themed activities, complimentary screening of Marvel movies by the bay, complimentary combat workout sessions and more.
Movie Screening
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be screened on 21 April at 8.15pm
- Avengers: Age of Ultron will be screened on 23 April at 8.15pm
The Southeast Asia Blue Carpet & Premiere for Captain America: Civil War will take place on 21 April 2016
Cosplay Competition
The cosplay competition will be held on 21 April at Marina Bay Ice Skating Rink. Pit regional cosplayers dressed up as Captain America: Civil War movie characters against each other. Winner of the competition gets direct entry into STGCC Cosplay Championship 2016. Register before 14 April 2016.
Limited Edition Collectibles
To commemorate Captain America’s arrival in Singapore, a limited edition Hot Toys Steve Rogers Cosbaby Collectible produced by Hot Toys and Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War T Shirt designed by O-WOW are available exclusively at the festival.
Online Festival Photo Contest
You can also join in the fun through the festival’s photo contest by posting a photo of yourself striking a Super Hero pose against a Singapore iconic landmark on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to win autographed movie merchandise.
The festival is organised by the team behind Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention in collaboration with ReedPOP – the force behind the Star Wars Celebration, New York Comic Con and PAX and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.
