Best Western Rewards, the loyalty programme of Best Western Hotels and Resorts with 25 million members around the world has removed points expiry. This means that guests does not have to stay at a Best Western Hotel within 12 months to retain the points previously earned.
Best Western has also added two new membership tiers – Gold & Diamond Select. There are now five membership tiers:
- Blue – Standard entry tier
- Gold – New tier for guests who stay with Best Western at least 10 nights a year
- Platinum – Guests who stay 15 nights a year
- Diamond – Guests who stay 30 nights a year
- Diamond Select – New tier for guests who stay over 50 nights a year
Guests who achieve Diamond Select status will receive a 50% bonus, room upgrades and a welcome gift on check-in. All Platinum, Diamond and Diamond Select guests will receive a welcome gift on check-in.
Best Western Rewards points can be earned at over 4,000 hotels worldwide under Best Western’s six brands including Best Western, Best Western PLUS, Best Western PLUS Executive Residency, Best Western PREMIER, the BW Premier Collection and GLō.
Members earn 10 points for every US$1 paid for on an eligible stay. Global Free Night vouchers are set at point levels, in increments of 4,000 points. The number of points required for a free stay varies by property.
From 9,000 points, you can redeem a US$50 Best Western Travel Card which works like cash at any Best Western hotel or resort worldwide, with no expiry. Points can also be redeemed for vouchers at Bunnings, Barbeques Galore, Booktopia and others.
