Banyan Tree and AccorHotels have entered a long-term partnership to develop and manage Banyan Tree branded hotels around the world. The partnership gives Banyan Tree access to AccorHotel’s global reservations and sales network as well as its loyalty programme Le Club Accorhotels.
AccorHotels will invest an initial S$24 million and both parties will then co-develop the brands owned by Banyan Tree around the world. AccorHotels will get an approximate 5% stake in Banyan Tree with an option to purchase an approximate additional 5% stake.
