Last night President and Chief Executive Office of Etihad Airways, James Hogan, accepted the Airline Market Leadership Award at the Air Transport World magazine’s 40th Annual Airline Industry Achievement Awards gala presentation dinner held at the Pan Pacific Singapore.
The Airline Industry Achievement Awards programme, based in the United States, was created in 1974 to recognise excellence across a broad section of airline operations and is widely considered one of the most coveted in aviation industry.
James Hogan is in Singapore for a series of engagements to commemorate the airline’s seventh year of service to Singapore including a VIP cocktail party tonight at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore for diplomatic officials, local business partners and representatives from the Singapore media.

Regional Airline of the Year • SkyWest

This is the third time SkyWest has been named ATW’s regional airline of the year, following awards in 1987 and 2002. SkyWest is the holding company for two scheduled passenger airline operations and an aircraft leasing company and is headquartered in St. George in Utah. SkyWest’s airline companies offer commercial air service across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean with some 4,000 daily flights and a fleet of 755 aircraft and has close to 20,000 employees.
