The Banyan Tree group opens its first hot spring retreat in Yunnan, Southwest China on 1 August branded under Angsana Tengchong • Hot Spring Village.

The property is half hour away from the Tengchong Airport and located in a valley near the western edge of Yunnan province and home to a volcanic mountainous region.  There are 28 Hot Spring retreats and nine villas with private hot spring tubs.  There are 43 outdoor and indoor hot spring pools with six different themes containing minerals with therapeutic benefits.

To celebrate the opening, the Best Available Rate (BAR) with a minimum stay of two consecutive nights is available for bookings till 30 October 2013 for stays from 1 August to 31 October 2013.  Guests get daily breakfast for two, daily hot spring centre pass for two, one way transfer between airport and hotel, one complimentary afternoon tea served in-villa or room and a 20% discount at food & beverage outlets and a-la-carte massages in the spa.
