American Express Joins Emirates Skywards

American Express Membership Rewards joins Emirates Skywards Programme

Emirates Skywards members can now transfer points from the American Express Membership Rewards programme and redeem for flights on Emirates.

For a limited time, eligible card members in the U.S., U.K. and France enjoy a 25% bonus when transferring points to Emirates Skywards between 8 and 21 November 2013. During this promotion, an Economy class return ticket between JFK and Dubai and Emirates starts from as low as 58,000 points. For 36,000 points a round trip between JFK and Milan can be redeemed with a Business Class ticket starting as low as 72,000 points and a one-way upgrade from 30,000 points.

Reward flights are available from any of Emirates eight gateway cities in the United States to any of over 136 destinations on the Emirates Network. Emirates joins 16 other airlines in the Membership Rewards programme through American Express.  The other airlines include Delta, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways.
