4 June 2012, Singapore – Despite a wet gloomy day in Singapore today, Scoot is set to take off tonight on its first-ever inaugural flight to Sydney.

The airline is expecting a full load of around 400 passengers in its aircraft which has been aptly named “Goin’ Scootin”.

It will depart from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 11.25pm and arrive at Sydney International Airport at 9.20am tomorrow.

Singapore’s Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport, Mr Choi Shing Kwok will bid the passengers farewell at the gate tonight while Barbarella and Pornsak from The Noose will accompany the passengers on the flight to Sydney.
