AirJapan, a subsidiary of the ANA Group specialising in medium-haul international flights departing from Tokyo-Narita International Airport, is set to commence operations on the Singapore route starting 26 April, 2024. Singapore marks the third destination for the newly launched airline, following the introduction of routes to Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) on 9 February, 2024, and Seoul-Incheon International Airport (ICN) on 22 February, 2024.
Positioned as a hybrid carrier, AirJapan allows passengers to choose from various services and enjoy comfortable cabins, all at competitive prices. One-way fares from Tokyo Narita to Singapore will start at JPY17,500 yen with customisable options.

For round-trip itineraries departing from Narita, the same amount applies for one-way itineraries departing from Singapore. Children under two years old who do not occupy a seat will be charged a flat rate of JPY5,000. Passenger facility charges and various taxes are required in addition to the fare. Fuel surcharge is not required. Fares include carry-on baggage up to 7kg. Flight changes and fare refunds are not permitted, once the ticket has been purchased.

NQ 3 will depart Narita at 5.35 pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and arrive in Singapore at 11.55pm. NQ4 will depart Singapore at 12.55am on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Launched in 2023, the airline operates Boeing 787-8 aircraft with 324 economy class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. Seats are 17.5 inches wide with a seat pitch of 32 inches. There are no inflight entertainment screens and seats are equipped with Type A and Type C USB ports. Passengers may connect to the dedciated in-flight WIFI to watch the latest Hollywood movies, children’s programme, animated cartoons and AirJapan original videos for free.
Additional services such as advanced assigned seating, checked baggage, in-flight internet connectivity (from US$6.95 for a 30 minute plan, US$16.95 for a 3-hour plan and US$21.95 for a full-flight plan up to 24 hours), and in-flight meals are available for an additional cost.
AirJapan will also avail a new selection of 56 inflight set and light meals, sweets and beverages that will be available for travellers to purchase on the day of their flight. Passengers can purchase curry rice, light meals such as ochazuke (dashi broth over rice) and ramen, snacks and beverages.
19 inflight products created specifically for AirJapan will also be on sale. Passengers may also purchase a blanket for JPY1,600 or other items onboard by using their smartphone or tablet.
