AirAsia X Lands In XiÁn China

AirAsia X landed for the first time in XiÁn’s Xianyang International Airport at 11.20pm last night from Kuala Lumpur, making this city the fifth destination in China after Hangzhou, Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai.

AirAsia X will operate four weekly flights to XiÁn from Kuala Lumpur and is the only airline service direct flights between the two cities.

AirAsia X is offering promotional one-way fares (for bookings between now till 13 July 2014 for immediate travel till 31 March 2015) to XiÁn from Kuala Lumpur from MYR199 on one-way or from MYR699 on its Business Class.

AirAsia X has carried a total of 2.7 million passengers to date into and from China from Kuala Lumpur with an average passenger load of 82%. Azran Osman Rani, CEO of AirAsia X expects the route introduction to XiÁn to increase revenue to over 17% with more than one million guests flying on the Kuala Lumpur – China routes this year.
