AirAsia X launches Quiet Zone

6 February 2013, Sepang – Long haul low cost carrier AirAsia X launches the “Quiet Zone” on board its Airbus A330-300 fleet for its long-haul flights across China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Australia and Nepal.

The “Quiet Zone” is located on the first seven economy class rows (row 7 to 14) just after the Premium cabin. Only passengers 12 years and above are allowed in this zone.   You can expect soft lighting and other more relaxing cabin atmosphere.

You can select the “Quiet Zone” when booking for your flights by choosing the pick-a-seat option. No extra charge will be imposed for this option except for the standard pick-a-seat fee.

Kids 12 years and younger are still welcomed in the other parts of the aircraft.  There are three infant bassinets in the other two larger economy cabin sections to cater for families with young children.
