More about the Menu:
KOREAN TRADITIONAL CHICKEN AND DRY POLLACK STEW: This unique traditional dish was once a palace dish served to the Kings and Queens of ancient Korea. The tender chicken fillet and strong flavoured Pollack used will leave you with a taste to remember. This unique dish is also served with a chicken “jochi”
CHICKEN BREAST SWEET PUMPKIN CHEESE CROQUETTE: Shingun considers this dish as a food therapy for travelling children. Shingun has placed great thoughts and care in the selection of ingredients for this dish. The bright yellow sweet pumpkin with its abundance of vitamins is a sure winner with the kids and moms alike. The kids will surely love the fragrant and golden brown pumkin cheese croquette.
MUSHROOM TOFU STEAK WITH OLD KIMCHI: Tofu is often the main feature in a Korean vegetarian dish. Vegetarian dishes and vegetarian cookery in Korea are often linked to the Buddhist tradition that influenced Korean culture from the Goryeo dynasty onwards. This dish features the Mung Beans Jeon or Korean traditional style pancakes which is popular amongst travellers and tourists to Korea.
Passengers can taste these delicious food on board the Seoul – Kuala Lumpur flights. From July, passengers on the Kuala Lumpur – Seoul sector will be able to taste these new Korean dishes.
Currently, the AirAsia X menu caters to different flavours and markets featuring hot Asian, vegetarian and kids meals. The new Korean dishes will serve as an added advantage for guests from Korea as well as guests from Kuala Lumpur can taste what Koreans have to offer before landing in Korea.
I am looking forward to trying Chef Shingun’s meals one day!!
