Accor Opens Novotel In Bangkok’s Platinum Fashion Mall

19 December 2011, Bangkok, Thailand – Accor recently opened its 11th Novotel hotel in Thailand, the Novotel Bangkok Platinum in the capital, located in the heart of Bangkok’s shopping district and strategically on top of Thailand’s largest fashion shopping centre – Platinum Fashion Mall.

The hotel is around 45 minutes drive from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 10-minutes walk to the BTS SkyTrain Chidlom Station which is near several shopping malls including Siam Square, Siam Paragon and CentralWorld.

The newly built hotel starts from the 6th floor of Platinum Fashion Mall, Zone 3, which is the region’s top wholesale shopping centre.  The 283 “new generation” guests rooms and suites offers relaxing comfort with a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi internet access, and a TV connection panel for USB, audio and video.

For functions and conventions, the hotel has a ballroom with a capacity of 200 while the three large multi-purpose function rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and meeting facilities for small-to-medium gatherings.

Food & Beverage

All-day dining is available at The Square, offering international and Thai cuisine.  The Platinum Lounge offers light drinks and meals and a view of Bangkok’s skyline.  The Pool Bar is where you can get a selection of cocktails, fresh fruit juices and snacks.

Facilities

In Balance lets you work out while overlooking the city’s busy Pratunam intersection.   Other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and sun deck, Kid’s Club and babysitting service, an iMac internet corner and free indoor secured car park.
