7 February 2013, Las Vegas (Business Wire) – JBL will launch JBL OnBeat Mini, its first portable speaker dock with a Lightning connector designed for Apple’s latest iOS devices including the iPad Mini, iPad 4th Generation, iPhone 5 and new iPod models at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
JBL OnBeat Mini is portable and easy to carry around. It comes with a portable charging dock and includes two full-range transducers and built-in digital signal processing to deliver crisp sound that fills the room. It can provide up to five hours of playback on batteries and charges the new iOS devices when used with the AC adapter provided. The built-in USB connector can power and play other portable devices. The battery-saving auto-standby turns the dock off after 10 minutes of non-use. When new batteries are needed, an LED status indicator alerts you.
The JBL OnBeat Mini is available in black and white at a suggested retail price of US$149 and will be available from select retailers or JBL.com in March 2013.
