2 October 2011, Singapore – Sony’s new Sony Tablet S will be available in Singapore in both 16GB and 32GB WiFi only version for S$668 and S$798 respectively from end-October 2011. So with so many tablets launched this year, what sets the Sony Table S apart from the rest?
PlayStation Games Available
Sony Tablet S is the first PlayStation Certified tablet where games for PlayStation Certified devices including original PlayStation games can be played, and popular titles such as Crash Bandicoot and Pinball Heroescome pre-installed. More games can be purchased from the Market.
Connecting to your home devices
Sony Tablet S wirelessly connects to DLNA compatible devices, including Sony BRAVIA television sets, so users can “throw” their personal photos and videos up on the big television screen with the touch of a button. A built-in infrared sensor also allows the Sony Tablet S to function as a remote control for any number of devices, including TVs, stereos, and more.
Exmor Camera Sensor
Similar to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, the Sony Tablet S comes with Sony Exmor R for mobile. This allows unparalleled low-light photography and video capture.
Design For Comfort
It looks thicker than your normal tablet, but it only weighs approximately 598g. With its unique asymmetric design, when holding it with one hand, it conveys a sense of lightness, offering comfortable use for hours. Try holding one yourself and you will understand what I mean.
My take of the Sony Tablet S : I like the look and feel of the tablet, the DLNA and Remote Control features which make this tablet stand out from the others that I have experienced.
