13 January 2012, Singapore – Sony made its 3G model of the Sony Tablet S available to consumers in Singapore today after launching its WIFI version last October. Running on the Android 3.2 tablet platform, the 16GB 3G model of the Sony Tablet S will be retailing at S$798.
Some of the features of the tablet include:

- Vivid image quality with Sony’s TruBlack display
- Smooth and smart ergonomic design
- Built-in infra-red Universal Remote lets you control your media devices with ease
- You can “throw” your personal video, music clips or photos to your home entertainment devices with the Sony Tablet S
From today, the 16GB and 32GB WiFi models of the Sony Tablet S were also revised to S$618 and S$748 respectively.
