6 January 2011, Las Vegas – Sony Ericsson unveils its first new generation of Xperia smartphones in 2011 – the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ arc smartphone. This new smartphone debuts as “Sony Ericsson’s most exciting Xperia product yet for 2011” according to Ian Gardner, Sony Ericsson’s Corporate Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Region.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia™ arc smartphone is the first of a new generation of Xperia smartphones. It is super-slim and measures only 8.7mm at its thinnest part. It combines Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine and Exmor R technology on the Android platform version 2.3 and features bright f/2.4 lens to aid capturing low-light photos and HD videos .
