Singtel has introduced three SIM-only, no-contract mobile plans starting at S$40 per month. These plans, named Core, Plus, and Ultra, offer high-speed connectivity, low latency, and ample bandwidth. They also include value-added services such as international roaming, mobile security, and a Disney+ Premium subscription that supports 4K UHD and HDR video playback on compatible titles. Additionally, subscribers can receive up to S$20 in monthly cashback when purchasing a phone through Singtel PayLater. The plans offer up to 6GB of free data roaming across 18 destinations, including Australia, Japan, and South Korea.
In late 2023, Singtel conducted a study to understand customer priorities when selecting mobile plans. The study revealed that customers favored flexible payment options and plans with added services like roaming. They were also willing to pay more for stronger, reliable connectivity to support their digital consumption habits and enhanced security, especially in light of increasing digital fraud and scams.
