17 July 2012, Singapore – Seagate’s new Backup Plus external hard drives lets you backup your precious photos and videos from your connected social networks such as Facebook, Youtube and Flickr with just a click. Protect those memories on your social networks and bring them with you even when you are not connected to internet.

• One-click back up of all content on social networks like Facebook and Flickr
• Users can also share multiple files to social networks from the hard drive
• Custom Backup Plan to schedule time for automatic backup
• Upgradable from the included USB3.0 interface to Thunderbolt technology or FireWire 800 with the available additional adapter

The Seagate Backup Plus family of external storage will be available in red, blue, silver and black for the portable 2.5-inch form factor at S$119 (500GB) and S$169 (1TB). The Backup Plus Desk 3.5-inch drive will retail at S$199 (2TB) and S$269 (3TB).
