One of the more exciting products that I’ve seen at Samsung Unpacked 2023 in Seoul is the new range of premium tablets – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series. In the range there’s three variants, the 11″ Tab S9, 12.4″ Tab S9+ and the ultimate 14.6″ Tab S9 Ultra. All are equipped with the same chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. The main difference other than the display size it’s the camera system and battery capacity.
What caught my eye was the Tab S9 Ultra. With that huge 16:10 Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and super thin bezel. It makes me feels like I am walking with a Samsung TV. And they all comes with Quad stereo speakers with sound by AKG, Dolby Atmos. Perfect for any K drama fans for your binge sessions on-the-go. It’s perfect for mobile gaming too.
With IP68 rating for the Tab S9 series, you can now scribble with the included S Pen underwater. Why do you need that? I also don’t know. But I know I can safely sit in a bathtub to finish a movie.
For work productivity, it’s even smarter with the Book Cover Keyboard. With a Samsung smartphone signed on to the same account as the Tab S9, the keyboard will have wireless multi connectivity between the two devices for easy drag & drop of content between the smartphone and tablet.
All variants of Tab S9 will be with 256GB internal storage only. But it will come with microSD card slot that supports up to 1TB additional storage. The Tab S9 will have 8GB RAM, while both Tab S9+ and Ultra will have 12GB RAM.
