22 September 2011, Singapore – An ultra slim and stylish compact camera with enhanced picture quality and touch screen technology, the Samsung MultiView MV800 builds on the success of Samsung’s dual screen technology.
This is the first premium compact model to feature a 3.0″ Wide Flip-out Touch Display. This flip out touch display allows you to take a high-angle shot in crowded situations or even a dramatic low-angle shot on the ground, or spin the display for dazzling self-portraits. You can tilt the screen up and down so every shot can be framed and viewed from any perspective.
This compact comes with 16.1 megapixels, 5x optical zoom lens to capture every detail close-up and a 26mm wide-angle lens for capturing larger gatherings in high definition.
There is also the Live Panorama function that allows you to photograph large groups. Simply hold down the shutter button and the entire scene can be previewed on the LCD Screen. If you connect the MV800 to a 3D HDTV, images and panoramic shots can be viewed in 3D in-depth quality instantly.
The unique Smart Touch 3.0 with Wallpaper user interface lets you drag and scroll through the menu options to launch the required feature intuitively with just a touch. You can customize your background image and wallpaper.
12 fun background templates and customizable background from the Magic Frame feature as well as the Picture-In-Picture function allows you to get creative with your photos.
The Smart Filter function allows creativity through a menu of 14 artistic effects including the newly added Water Paint for a stylish watercolour finish or the Cartoon capability that transforms any photo into a fun animated film format. Funny Face allows you to bend, stretch and manipulate portraits by tapping and dragging to radically distort facial characteristics for a good laugh.
Capture those special moments with a recording time of up to twice as long as the standard MPEG4. The zoom noise reduction technology ensures that only record the laughter and conversations of loved ones, not the whirring of the zoom.
