Samsung has just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ in New York with a new elegant design and new S Pen features for better productivity and creativity. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 also comes with new pro-grade video recording and editing features, that make this the Android smartphone to get if you love keeping timeless video memories that you can relive the moment again and again.
It was sad to say goodbye to the headphone jack that Samsung had tried to keep for those who still prefer to use wired headphones on their smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will be available in Aura Glow and Aura Black and the Note 10+ will be available in Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black starting from 24 August 2019 in Singapore. Even though we were told that there will only be three colour variants, but we did get a glimpse of the Pink and a Red Note 10 at our hands-on session. Maybe these colours will be introduced to selected markets after the official launch.

Here are the cool new features for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series:
- Two Sizes: 6.3″ FHD+ for the Note 10 and 6.8″ Quad HD+ for the Note 10+. Pick the best screen size for your hands and liking. Both are using Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with HDR10+ certification just like the Samsung Galaxy S10. The Note10+ features the biggest Note display ever with 6.8-inches and this is the first time Samsung is making two screen variants for Note series smartphones.
- Edge-to-edge Design: The display is nearly bezel-less on the new Note 10 series. With a centre hole punch cut out for the front camera, making it a more balanced design.
- Handwriting to Text: With the new uni-body S Pen, now you can jot down notes, instantly convert their handwriting to digital text in Samsung Notes, and export it to a variety of different formats, including Microsoft Word, PDF and many more.
- More uses with the S Pen: Air actions with the S Pen allowing you to control certain aspects of the device using gestures with the S Pen. By opening up the Air actions SDK, developers can create customized controls that give you the ability to play games or use your favourite applications using gestures. Maybe we will see that feature of casting a spell using the S Pen as a magic wand on the Harry Potter game?
- Samsung DeX works with PC and Mac: Plug the Note 10 directly to a PC or Mac for a more seamless experience when using the Samsung DeX. Drag and drop files between devices, and use your favourite mobile apps with a mouse and a keyboard, while keeping their data secure on their phone through Samsung Knox.
- Link to Windows: The Note 10 integrates Link to Windows directly into the Quick Panel. With one click, you can connect to your Windows 10 PC. There, you can see notifications, send and receive messages, and review recent photos without pausing to look down at your phone.
- Premium Video Technology: Capture pro-grade video on the Note 10 without having to carry around any extra gear. Live focus video adds depth-of-field adjustments so you can blur the background to focus on your subject. Zoom-In Mic amplifies the audio in frame and pushes background noise aside to help focus on the sounds that you want. And to remove the bumps and shakes that usually make an action shot blurry, new and improved Super steady stabilizes footage, and is now available in Hyperlapse mode for steady time-lapse videos.
- Quick and Easy Video Editing: You can edit-on-the-go instantly right from the Note 10. Video editor can be used with the S Pen, so instead of having to tap to select or edit a clip, you can choose the precise moment you want to trim. For creators who need even more control over their footage, Adobe Rush on the Note 10 provides a sophisticated suite of editing tools, now even more accurate with the S Pen.
- Screen Recorder: For gamers who want to add some personality to their streams, or vloggers who want to enhance their tutorials, the Note 10 introduces Screen recorder. Easily capture what’s on the screen, use picture-in-picture to add reactions, and use the S Pen to annotate as they record for a more entertaining, engaging video.
- AR Doodle and 3D Scanner: With AR Doodle, use the S Pen to personalize photos with dynamic drawings, effects, and animations that track to the image. And with 3D Scanner, a groundbreaking first for the Note, the Galaxy Note10+’s DepthVision camera can take a scan of an object, and instantly turn it into a movable 3D rendering.
