Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 & Z Flip3 Are World’s First Water-Resistant Foldable Phone

This is the third generation of foldable smartphone from Samsung and with each new generation, more improvements are added. For the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, it’s getting water-resistant upgrades and more durable screens with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus foldable screen and Armor Aluminum chassis. Both devices are also slimmer and lighter than it’s predecessors. The Z Fold3 will be supporting S Pen features as well! Making full use of the huge 7.6″ unfolded screen to scribble down your notes. How convenient.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will be available in Singapore from 10 September 2021, Friday, 10am. The pricing will be as follows:

Aesthetic wise, the Z Fold3 looked pretty much the same as the Fold2. But now it comes in the charming Phantom Green too. The more stylish & fashion forward Z Flip3 will get 4 times bigger cover display for you to accomplish task without the need of flipping open the phone. You get to express yourself by changing the animated wallpaper on the cover display too. You can even match up the wallpaper with the watch face on the all new Galaxy Watch4.

Like the pass generation of Samsung foldable devices, the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 will all be getting limited Thom Browne editions. It’s a full suite of Thom Browne branded products that includes, Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Watch4, Wireless Charging Plate, with matching cases and cables too. The Fold3 bundle will even comes with a Thom Browne edition S Pen Pro too. So cute!!!

The new Z Fold3 will also be getting a under the screen selfie camera on the foldable screen. It’s not completely hidden, but it’s less visible. This will make it a lesser eye sore when viewing documents or playing games in full screen mode. Samsung is taking in all the feedback from the users and adding all these as improvements into this latest generation of foldable smartphones.

Especially the IPX8 water resistant bit. Now I do not need to worry about using the foldable phones under the rain. But I do hope that they can get the dust resistant upgrade in real soon.
