Nintendo Switch will be getting its first Pokémon franchise game, Pokken Tournament DX, on 22 September 2017. It will be a combat fighting video game that is based on the Wii U version of Pokken Tournament. However, the Nintendo Switch DELUXE version will get FIVE extra playable characters on top of the existing 16 characters in the original game. The extra characters are Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk and Decidueye from the latest Pokémon Sun & Moon.
There will be the classic one-on-one battle mode, three versus three team battles and online matches which will you can obtain a rank on the international leader board. The first playable demo of the game will be available at E3 on 13 June 2017. On 14 June 2017 at 10.30 am PT (or 1.30 am Singapore Time on 15 June 2017), there will be a live stream of the invitational tournament at E3 to see Pokémon trainers battle it out in real-time.
