Pokémon fans, it’s time to get your battle strategies ready—Pokémon Mezastar is coming to Singapore! Replacing the existing Pokémon Ga-Olé machines at over 70 locations from 1 April 2025, this next-generation arcade game brings a revamped battle system, fresh collectable Pokémon Tags, and exciting new gameplay mechanics.
Last year, we just published a video for mums and dads to understand the hype of Pokémon Ga-Olé among kids and Pokémon fans. And now, an upgrade is taking its place.
Developed by T-ARTS and Marvelous Inc., Pokémon Mezastar enhances the immersive, hands-on arcade experience that fans of the franchise love. Whether you’re a newcomer, a seasoned trainer, or someone who grew up with Pokémon, this game offers fast-paced battles, strategic gameplay, and exclusive Pokémon collectables.
Fans flocked to United Square Shopping Mall on 14 March 2025 to try their hands on these new machines and game play. They could also purchase memorabilia and merchandise.
How Pokémon Mezastar Works
Pokémon Mezastar is an interactive arcade battle game where you:
- Select Your Pokémon Team – Choose three Pokémon to battle (an upgrade from Ga-Olé’s two-Pokémon format).
- Engage in Battles – Fight against wild Pokémon in fast-paced, action-packed encounters.
- Capture Pokémon – After a successful battle, you get a chance to catch the Pokémon and earn physical Mezastar Tags, which represent different Pokémon and can be used in future battles.
These Mezastar Tags aren’t just in-game tools—they’re also highly collectable, featuring a brand-new design that are even more visually appealing for fans. These tags are region restricted, so you can’t use them outside of the country they came from.
