Nikon D600: Nikon’s Most Compact & Lightest Full-Frame DSLR Camera

13 September 2012, Tokyo – Nikon launches their most compact and lightest full frame DSLR camera the D600 today offering enthusiasts a high end performance at a lower price. The Nikon D600 will be available from 18 September 2012 at a recommended retail price of S$3,249 for the body only.

  • Same EXPEED 3 image-processing engine built into high end Nikon DSLR cameras such as the D4, D800 and D800E
  • A smaller and lighter body than the high end Nikon DSLR cameras weighing approximately 760g and measuring 141mm (W) x 113mm (H) x 82mm (D)
  • Shoots in full frame images and full HD video with more portability
  • Optical viewfinder with 100% frame coverage
  • 921,000-dot, 3.2 inch LCD monitor
  • Magnesium-alloy weather-sealed body offering dust and water-resistance as the D800 and D800E
  • 3D Axis tracking with 39 focus points
  • High-speed 5.5fps
  • Built-in automatic HDR capturing and processing
  • Time-lapse function
  • Dual SD memory card slots for SDXC, UHS-14 compliant
  • Full HD Video recording up to 1080/30p utilising the camera’s entire 24.3 megapixel full frame sensor
  • Compatible with FX and DX lenses to shoot HD movies
  • Compatible with NIKKOR lenses equipped with Nikon’s advanced optical technologies to maximise performance of the D600’s FX-format CMOS sensor
  • Precise Scene Recognition System analyses detailed scene brightness and colour information from the 2,016-pixel RGB sensor for the autofocus, automatic exposure, i-TTL balanced fill-flash, and white balance control functions
