Yahoo launches the new Yahoo Mail app for iOS and Android in Singapore. Now you can get your email, news and information that is important to you in one app. The new app shows you your email, news, weather and more all in one place daily and is designed with simplicity in mind. New icons for Mail, News and Today will appear on your screens in a new panel when you access your Yahoo Mail Inbox through the app.
You can now swipe left or right or tap the relevant icon in the top right corner of your screen to move between your inbox, news stream and Today seamlessly. The Today icon lets you see a snapshot of the information that is important to you on a daily basis, be it the local weather, images from Flickr or a news digest.
Yahoo Mail now also offers smart suggestions when you start typing a name including both people and messages to help you narrow down your search. It filters your search results by messages, files or photos.
