inMotion Compact (iMT320) by Altec Lansing – Portable Audio for iPhone™ and iPod® Users

This is a perfect time to get the Altec Lansing‘s inMotion Compact iMT 320.  I had the chance to review the set a few months back but did not get the chance to share this much earlier.  Launched in April 2010, this inMotion compact has the option of using electricity or batteries and folds nicely into a book-like portable set which makes it my ideal travel music companion.     The inMotion is compatible with iPhone (up to iPhone 3GS) and iPod’s latest versions.

The inMotion Compact portable design packs a big punch with its front firing ports for enhanced low frequency sound.  Its dual neodymium driver deliver a rich, well balanced sound for music on the go.  Similar to its predecessor (iM310), the inMotion Compact includes great audio performance, battery and AC operation.  It also includes a soft, leather-like cover that doubles as a speaker stand when you unfold it.

Core features:

  • “Works with iPhone” certification that ensures crystal clear sound without annoying GSM buzz and avoids having to switch to ‘Airplane’ mode.
  • Improved contemporary design – soft, leather like cover that doubles as a stand
  • Front Firing Ports – enhanced low-end sound
  • AC or battery-operated – Runs off AC adapter or 4AA batteries
  • Folds as small as a book for easy portability – Great for traveling
  • Input Jack – 3.5mm jack for second device connection, including computers, CD, DVD and MP3 players
