It’s time to join the DARK SIDE. The HP Star Wars special edition laptop comes with a “battle worn” design inspired by the Galactic Empire. Together with a special edition sleeve, the Star Wars Special Edition has landed in Singapore starting at S$1,299. You can pre-order it here at HP Singapore’s online store.
HP Star Wars special edition laptop is expected to be available on retail shelves from next week onwards. It will be available at Harvey Norman, Challenger, Newstead, Courts and Best Denki.

Click on the Imperial Cog desktop icon on the laptop to be taken to the Star Wars Command Center to browse the Star Wars Special Edition laptop’s Themes and Galleries. You will have access to unique content collections with over 1,100 images spanning 40 years of Star Wars history from behind-the-scenes images to storyboards, artwork to set and costume designs.
- Themes offer customisability with sound, wallpaper and screensaver collections. You can replace the standard Windows notification sounds with eight categories of iconic Star Wars sounds including R2-D2 and lightsaber. Choose wallpapers such as the planetary collections based on movie stills to truly create your own experience.
- Galleries host several categories for you to explore Star Wars content. View original movie posters in Collections or explore the Concept Art section to view Lucasfilm art that guided movie development including early ideas on characters, costumes and settings. Illustrated Art celebrates Star Wars with artwork from black and whites to comic book art.
- Aurebesh font allows you to type in Galactic Base Standard language for a truly engaging Star Wars experience. The Aurebesh font is located with other standard fonts in the font library.
- The Recycle Bin has been replaced with a Death Star icon – not destroyed when empty and destroyed when full.
The Empire Design
The touchpad design mirrors the X-Wing Star Fighter Guidance System and the red backlit keyboard completes the dark-side design. Spotting “Galactic Empire” written in the unique Star Wars Aurebesh font on the hinge and iconic Stormtroopers on the keyboard deck.
The Dark Specs
For portability and power, the Star Wars Special Edition laptop gets up to seven hours of battery life and is offered with Full HD in a 15.6 inch diagonal display.
You can choose between 6th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors for your performance needs. The laptop comes with up to 1 TB of HDD and up to 8GB of RAM with the option to select between Intel HD Graphics 520 and NVIDIA GeForce 940M graphics processors.
With audio tuned by B&O Play and dual speakers, you will have bold sound experiences while watching movies or listening to music.
To complete the collection & experience, the Star Wars Special Edition Wireless Mouse will be available at the end of November, with pricing to be announced later.
