Nominations Open for the 4th Edition of The Singapore 100 Women in Tech Awards

Help Celebrate Women in Tech: Nominate for SG100WIT 2025

The search is on for Singapore’s most inspiring women in technology. The Singapore Computer Society, in partnership with the Infocomm Media Development Authority, has officially opened nominations for the fourth edition of the Singapore 100 Women in Tech (SG100WIT) list. This national initiative, under the SG Women in Tech (SGWIT) movement, recognises trailblazing women who are shaping Singapore’s digital future—whether through innovation, leadership, advocacy or community impact.

The 2025 edition comes at a particularly significant moment as the nation marks SG60. This year’s theme, “Empowering Yourself, Inspiring Others,” underscores the importance of recognising role models who have used technology to uplift others and influence the future of work, learning, and life in Singapore. In addition to seasoned professionals in the tech industry, the “Girls in Tech” category will also honour young female students aged 13 and above who demonstrate exceptional potential and impact in the STEM fields.

Past editions have drawn hundreds of nominations, reflecting a growing interest in showcasing women’s contributions across sectors from AI and data science to entrepreneurship and smart city solutions. SG100WIT has become a vital platform for challenging stereotypes, celebrating excellence, and encouraging more women and girls to pursue meaningful careers in technology. Winners will be selected by a panel of leaders from academia, business, and the tech community, and honoured at a special awards ceremony in August 2025.

Nominations are open until 30 April 2025 and are open to both individuals and organisations. If you know a woman who’s changing the game in tech—or if you’re one yourself—this is the moment to put that name forward and spotlight the work that deserves to be seen. “We are proud to champion an initiative that celebrates and empowers women in tech. By showcasing the stories of these trailblazers, we know we will inspire future leaders, break barriers, and shape the technology landscape of tomorrow. The rise in nominations over the years is a testament to the growing influence of women in the industry, and as we celebrate SG60, let’s continue to accelerate progress towards a more gender-diverse and dynamic tech workforce.”
