The all new Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock will be the first smartwatch charging dock designed by Apple. With a simplistic pancake design, it allows you to charge the Apple Watch lying flat on the pod or horizontally to enable the night stand mode feature from watchOS 2. It is readily available on in Apple Online Store at S$118.
On the website, it indicated “- White” for the dock, so there maybe a high possibility that Apple will be launching more colours in the near future. Maybe just like the iPhone Lightning Dock, in Rose Gold, Gold and Space Grey too?
The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock uses the same inductive charging connector that comes with Apple Watch. It charges both the 38mm and 42mm models. And it connects via the Lightning to USB Cable and Apple 5W USB Power Adapter.
