Samsung today just launched the latest A series smartphones – Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A32 5G. “A” stands for AWESOME and these new devices are packed with awesome camera features and awesome display to impress those looking for an affordable smartphone. Plus it comes with a charger in the box too…. haha
Both new devices looked pretty much the same from exterior… except that camera bump on the rear for A52 and the A32 looked pretty sleek with the back flushed. The slightly pricier A52 will have a bit more features than the A32. Like wise better camera and display. You pay more you get more too.
Surprisingly, the A32 will come with bigger capacitiy battery at 5,000 mAh, with the A52 will come a smaller with 4,500 mAh. So if you are hungry for battery over better camera and display, go for A32. But if you need it to be water resistant, then A52 will come with IP67 rating for that. The A52 also comes with on-screen fingerprint sensor, while A32 will have the fingerprint scanner at the side button.
Awesome Camera
Samsung has set the bar high for camera quality, and the Galaxy A52 5G and A32 5G are no different. The Galaxy A52 5G features a 64MP high-resolution Main camera, a 12MP Ultra-wide camera, a 5MP Depth camera to provide a touch to portrait photography, and a 5MP Macro camera to pick up the most minute of details in close-up shots; while the A32 5G boasts similar camera configurations with a 48MP Main camera, 8MP Ultra-wide camera with 123-degree field of view, 2MP Depth camera, and a 5MP Macro camera. Both smartphones also come with high resolution front camera for you to capture eye-catching selfies in high clarity – perfect for high-quality social media content.
The more premium Galaxy A52 5G uses Scene Optimiser2 artificial intelligence to optimise all shots with optimal settings for 30 categories of images and backgrounds such as food, landscapes, and pets. You can also instantly turn favourite moments from 4K videos into 8MP high-resolution images.
Whether filming the latest dance challenges or capturing a new skateboard trick, OIS (optical image stabilisation) on the Galaxy A52 5G ensures pictures and videos come out sharp and steady. Now with 120Hz refresh rates on the Galaxy A52 5G, and 60Hz on the Galaxy A32 5G, the scrolling experience is even smoother. Keep watching and scrolling social media posts even when outside thanks to an increased 800nits luminance.
The display is also ‘Eye Care’ certified,and automatically adjusts the display’s colour temperature based on smartphone usage patterns to reduce eye fatigue with ‘Eye Comfort Shield’.
The new Galaxy A series also features a refreshed design that is simple yet purposeful with a soft-edge design and minimal camera housing.

The Galaxy A52 5G will have two variants, 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM at S$648 and 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM at S$548. The Galaxy A32 5G will have two variants, 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM at S$428 and 4GB RAM with 128GB ROM at S$348.
Both Galaxy A52 and A32 will come in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Violet and Awesome White. The Galaxy A52 5G will be available in Singapore from 27 March, while the Galaxy A32 5G will be available from 2 April. Both devices will be available at local telecommunication operators (M1, Singtel and StarHub), Samsung Online Store, Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Official Store in Lazada and Shopee, Amazon, KrisShop, Zalora, Takashimaya Department Store, major consumer electronics & IT stores, and selected authorised mobile retailers.
