Meanwhile here are seven features we like about the Note7.

1. Your Eyes Unlocks Your Note7

In addition to the fingerprint scanning, now your eye unlocks the phone with the new iris recognition technology. It even works even you are wearing glasses but remember to take out your shades.

Parents will love this because now their kids can’t access the phone. And mobile banking becomes even more secured.

2. 3D Dual Curved Edges

The Note7 now comes with an 3D dual-edge curve Corning Gorilla Glass 5 finishing. The Edge Panel allows one-tap access to your applications, news and functions.

3. Flatter S Pen Stylus

The Galaxy Note7 S Pen is now 0.77mm which is 50% flatter and lets you write down your memo without having to unlock the screen with the screen off memo mode. Smart Select function lets you create and share GIF animations while the Air Command functions including Magnify and Translate lets you hove your S Pen over the screen to zoom in or convert languages.  The pressure sensitivity levels on the new S Pen have been improved from 2,048 to 4,096. The Note7 becomes the perfect canvas if you are into painting and drawing. It took seven years to make the S Pen more resistant and water and dust resistant.

4. IP68 Rating for Water and Dust Resistance

We’ve all seen what the S7 and S7 Edge can do under water. I’ve been bringing the S7 Edge out for swims to take selfie videos swimming or hair flips of women with long hair in the pool. Now you can do all these with the Note 7. Even the S Pen is IP68 certified water and dust resistant.

A new Lens Kit is available at S$198. The kit comes with a lens cover, 108 degree angle wide angle lens and 2x Optical Zoom Telephoto lens.

5. USB Type -C Charging Port

Now you don’t have to worry which side of the charging port you are inserting into the phone because it is no longer the old charging port. No more worries about ruining your phone should you put in the wrong way.

The Note7 comes with ultra fast charging and fast built in wireless charging.

6. Compatible with the Gear 360 Camera

We love the Gear 360 camera and now there is one more device that is compatible with it. The Note S7 joins the S7 and S7 Edge that can connect with the 360 camera.

7. Base Memory Doubled 64GB

The memory on the Samsung Galaxy Note7 has been doubled to 64GB with an microSD memory of up to 256GB. Now you can do more with your smart device.

So will you be getting the new Note7?
