Just after its debut here in Singapore at Orchard Gateway in May, Under Armour, an American leading sports apparel brand, will be opening two new stores at Collyer Quay and Tampines 1, as well as a shop-in-shop at Takashimaya Department Store later this month. The Collyer Quay Under Armour store at Income@Raffles will open from today, followed by the Tampines 1 store on 15 August 2014. Under Armour Collyer Quay will also occasionally offer niche items such as rugby boots.
Launched in tandem with the new stores is the label’s Fall Winter 2014 Collection. Customers will find a wide selection of apparels and footwear, including UA SpeedForm Apollo, the world’s only running shoe constructed using an innovative manufacturing process in a clothing factory. Destroying the conventional rules of footwear construction, the SpeedForm Apollo is engineered for long distance running with next-to-skin support and comfort.
The FW2014 collection also includes the brand’s technological innovations such as the HeatGear Sonic, Heatgear Flyweight, Coldblack, UA Tech and Compression range. Menswear will include men’s training, baselayers, combine training, running, golf and footwear. The womenswear range will include training, running, UA’s studio line, UA Studio & UA StudioLux and the Armour Bra powered by Under Armour.
Additionally, among the technical apparel available for purchase is HeatGear® ArmourVent™, a new training apparel technology platform available in both menswear and womenswear. Product prices range from S$12 to S$199 for all retailing stores.
In celebration of the opening of the new stores, a special edition dogtag will be given to customers with every purchase of Under Armour footwear. Membership to the Armour Club will also be extended to customers who spend a minimum of S$150. Membership includes a 10% discount for future purchases.
