Sports, Fitness & Outdoor Summit Features Latest Gadgets at CES

29 December 2011, New York – If keeping fit is one of your resolutions for 2012, you may just get what you want when you step off the plane in Las Vegas.

Next year’s Sports, Fitness and the Outdoors Summit and Expo produced by Living in Digital Times will be taking place during the 2012 International CES from 10 to 13 January. You’ll get to check out the hottest innovations of high-tech gear that will demonstrate how you can keep those New Year’s resolutions.

The Sports & Fitness Tech Summit will take place on 10 January 2012 at 9am in room N256 of the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

Some of the highlights of the Sports & Fitness Tech Expo include a bevy of equipment such as activity-tracking armbands; waterproof mp3 players; GPS-enabled HD cameras; high-tech heart monitors; gesture recognition and full-body tracking user interfaces for games and sports; high-tech goggles that measure and track statistics; and a few surprise announcements.

The Fitness Tech conference agenda will feature thought-leaders who will discuss hot trends including

  • gaming systems and performance trackers

New companies like BASIS and Striiv, along with updates from last year’s innovators, Body Media and Fitbit, will be featured along with new technology from Valencell, Polk Audio, and Polar.
