24 July 2011, Singapore – The winning team of the 24-hour Simulator Challenge was crowned yesterday at the SingTel F1 road show.  The team had an average lap time of 01:49:537 in the final race.

150 contestants battled it out on the simulator machines in line with this year’s theme “Fast Is Amazing”.  The champion team members each won a pair of Formula One Bay Grandstand Tickets to this year’s Singapore Grand Prix worth S$598, and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to pit their skills against a Formula One driver on the SingTel race car simulator.

They also earned a place in the Singapore Book of Records or the achievement.  The top 40 fastest speed record holders will receive an original Singapore Race miniature replica trophy.
