The Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore returns 1 December 2013.  Registration for a spot in the marathon is happening at the Event Square, Waterfront Promenade @ Marina Bay (next to Bayfront Link) on 4 July 2013 at 11am.    You can also register online from the Marathon’s official website from 6pm on the same day.

The first 300 registrants at The Event Square will get a special SEIKO timer alarm clock.  The subsequent 500 registrants will receive a limited edition gym bag.  There will also be lucky draws with 15 SEIKO watches worth S$494 each to be given away.  Registrants at the Event Square will also get a S$5 discount on all categories except Ekiden.

The organisers have increased the participation quota for the HALF MARATHON category from 10,000 in previous years to 12,000 while the participation quota for the other categories remain unchanged except for the Ekiden category which has increased to 300.

You can only register for the Ekiden category at The Event Square on 4 July 2013 and only one person is required to register on-site for the team.   Registration for the Ekiden category is from 11am to 4pm.

Pricing for registration has increased ranging from S$5 to S$10 depending on the category you are registering for.
