UnionPay invites you to discover Hong Kong with its global privileges for cardmembers. We checked out some of these offers during our recent trip. Hong Kong has lots to offer. The food, shopping, sights, and also many out skirt activities. Pick one that suits you but we also highlight some of the UnionPay cardmember privileges here.
When you get into Hong Kong International Airport, don’t forget to pick up a pocket WiFi for your stay in Hong Kong or Macau. WiFi BB Pocket WiFi Rental has a counter at the arrivals hall at Hong Kong International Airport after collecting your luggage from the luggage carousel and clearing customs. Pocket Wifi rental here offers 3G or 4G speed with a total data limit of 5GB. For a minimum of three days, the rental is HKD60 per day. 1. Enjoy Summer Holiday with UnionPay
UnionPay cardmembers enjoy an extra 5% from 16 July to 21 August 2016 in Hong Kong. There are 200 local merchants with over 1400 merchant outlets to spend at. This is a UnionPay and Quality Tourism Services Association (QTSA) collaboration supported by Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB). You also enjoy discounts at F&B outlets such as Ah Yat Harbour View Restaurant, Café Lido, City Café – The Cityview, Charlie Brown Cafe, Hui Lau Shan, Kee Wah Bakery, Miyazaki, Ngong Ping Garden Restaurant, Orchid Padria, San Hing Restaurant, Skyzone Deck and Lounge at Rosedale Hotel Kowloon, Star of Canton Restaurant Tsui Wah Restaurant amongst many others. There are also fashion and accessories merchants such as A Timeless Tailor, a.testoni, Aquascutum, ASHWORTH, bauhuas, Bonbonniere amongst others to shop at.

3. Visit Madame Tussauds Hong Kong
If you are visiting Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, UnionPay lets you enjoy a free Concession Admission Ticket for a child worth HK$185 when you purchase a regular-priced Adult Admission Ticket at the ticketing counter at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. There is a limit of four concession admission tickets for children in each transaction. This promotion is valid till 31 December 2016.
4. Shop at Harbour City
Harbour City in Hong Kong’s largest shopping mall. UnionPay cardholders enjoy exclusive privileges in July and August. Spend HK$500 nett in a single transaction with your UnionPay card at any merchants in the monthly Merchant Hoop from Fridays to Sundays and receive a complimentary HK$50 Cash Coupon of its following merchant instantly. Cardholders also receive a complimentary Harbour City pouch for a single spending of HK$1,000 at any merchants from Friday to Sundays during the promotion period. If you send HK$3,000 with your UnionPay card at Facesss from Fridays to Sundays, you will receive a Facesss HK$100 cash voucher. Come shop at Harbour City and enjoy over 60 merchant offers.

5. Bring Home Japanese Produce from YATA Supermarket
If you love Japanese produce, YATA Supermarket in Sha Tin has a rather extensive range of Japanese products. You should check out the melons, selection of beers and other groceries and food items at this supermarket. What’s more, pay for your purchases of at least HK$400 with your UnionPay Card on Fridays and receive a HK$50 YATA Gift Certificate. For purchases of HK$300 on your UnionPay QuickPass Card on Fridays, you get a HK$50 YATA Gift Certificate.
There are seven YATA branches in Hong Kong made up of three department stores and four supermarkets.
6. Shop At Hong Kong International Airport
Hong Kong International Airport has lots to shop. Not just the luxury brands are in the airport. There are also many shops that let you make your last minute purchases before you hop onto your flight back home.
You can bring back a piece of Hong Kong represented by the local brands such as The Peninsula, G.O.D., Shanghai Tang and more. You can also buy back very local food stuff from Kee Wah Bakery or Koi Kei Bakery. Or carry home some fine teas from Fook Ming Tong. Fook Ming Tong Tea
When you charge HK$5,000 to your UnionPay card at Terminal 1 and 2 at Hong Kong International Airport, you receive a complimentary HK$250 Airport Cash Voucher. The more you charge the more you get. Spend HK$20,000 and receive HK$1,300 Airport Cash Voucher. Spend HK$50,000 and receive HK$5,200 Airport Cash Voucher.
