Singapore-based photographer and travel writer Ling Doh Kin will be holding his first solo travel photo exhibition at the Mulan Gallery at 36 Armenian Street from 12 to 26 May 2018. The photo exhibition is titled ‘Shine’ and features 30 photographs taken in less-explored areas of Cuba, Morocco, Tunisia, Ecuador, Iceland, China and Faroe Islands, depicting varying vignettes of local culture and its people filled with captivating positive energy.
Kin sees light as a positive energy; a source of goodness that represents hope and warmth. Kin has witnessed amazing landscapes resulting from light play over his years of travels.
2018 started out for Kin with the launch of his first travel tome titled “On a journey with you” which he co-authored with his Bigfoottraveller.com Chinese travel website, co-founder and backpacking partner Ling Sing Yuen. Read heart-warming stories of how strangers have helped them during unforeseen circumstances around the world.
To capture the olfactory senses, Singapore artisanal perfume label SIX will be imbuing the gallery with 27°F Biei, a scent inspired by the winter of Hokkaido.
