Korean Air Travel Photo Contest Call For Entries

The 21st Korean Air Travel Photo contest has opened from now till 1 September 2014. This year’s theme is ‘Pleasant and Memorable Travel Moment’. This photo contest first started 21 year ago in 1994. This year’s competition will be divided into the ‘Main Award’ and ‘Special Awards’

The Main Award is for photos related to travel while the Special Awards have two categories – ‘Best Friends Awards’ for entries depicting love and friendship between family members, friends, lovers or neighbours; ‘Smart Life Awards’ for entries taken with smartphones.

Any one of any nationality can participate and the work should be their own. Submit photos onto photo.koreanair.com. ‘Smart Life Awards’ entries should be registered at Korean Air’s mobile site at m.photo.koreanair.com. You can also submit prints via mail or in person to 2nd floor, Sungwon Building, 2634-27, Nambusunhwan-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Korea, 137-886.

60 winners will be picked in September by a judging panel of photo experts including two college photography professors.

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize of two Prestige Class roundtrip tickets to any Korean Air International destination and two domestic Economy Class round-trip ticket.
  • Gold Prize
  • Two Silver Prizes
  • Six Bronze Prizes

Winning entries will be shown in a public exhibition that will tour six Korean cities (Seoul, Busan, Daejeon, Jeju, Gwangju and Daegu) from 14 October till 28 December 2014.
