Canon EFS 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS II telephoto lens, 23 September 2011, Singapore – Canon revealed a new telephoto lens, with an extensive zoom range that allows you to get intimately close to the action from a safe distance.  The new EF-S 55 – 250 mm f/4-5.6 IS II telephoto lens also lets nature, wildlife and sports photo enthusiasts enjoy the benefit of the crop factor to get maximum detail at long distances.

  • Expect sharper shots across the entire zoom range with the inclusion of an Ultra-Low Dispersion (UD) lens element
  • Canon’s four-stop Image Stabilization technology lets you take photos in low light settings with ease and with automatic panning detection helps you take high speed objects
