Universal Studios Singapore Tops Facebook Check Ins in 2012

14 December 2012, Singapore – Retaining its top position from last year as the most checked-in location in Singapore on Facebook is theme park Universal Studios Singapore.  Marina Bay Sands and Woodlands checkpoint came in second and third respectively followed by malls.  Gardens by the Bay which opened in second half of 2012 came in ninth place.

Facebook analysed the cultural trends and popular topics of the year in a recent global 2012 Facebook Memology report which was not available to us at time of publishing this post.

Interestingly another trend that was shared with us was the Top Ten Songs.  Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know came in tops while Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe came in second.
