PSA: More Ways To Get New Notes From DBS or POSB For Lunar New Year

POSB and DBS are offering its customers more ways to get new and almost-new notes for the coming lunar new year. From 11 January 2017, customers can withdraw these notes from 41 POSB new notes pop-up ATMs in 22 community clubs. POSB is the only bank to offer such a service. These ATMs are fully operational around the clock. In the last two years, more than 40% of pop-up ATM users withdrew new notes outside branch opening hours.

Except for the Pop Up ATMs at Chong Pang and Toa Payoh West which operate from 9am to 10pm daily, the other ATMs are accessible to customers 24 hours daily.

Cash Denominations Withdrawals up to individual card limit include:

  • S$100 = S$2 x 50
  • S$300 =  S$10 x 30
  • S$500 = S$50 x 10

Other Ways to Get New and Good as New Notes:

  • Reserve their new and good-as-new notes online from 9 January 2017 at go.dbs.com/sg-cnynotes.
  • At full-service DBS/POSB branches from 11 to 27 January. Elderly and those with special needs enjoy priority queue. Use the SMS ‘Q’ notification service option to request for a queue number via sms prior to visiting the branch and get notified on the number of customers ahead of you.
  • Send eAng-Baos with DBS PayLah to skip queues and physical cash.
