24 April 2012, Singapore – Japanese lifestyle store Francfranc recently gave Singaporeans a preview at VivoCity Atrium from 18 April to today showcasing a variety of attractive and charming range of stationery, bath accessories as well as some of its home, lifestyle and furnishing products from their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. The bright coloured merchandise is tempting enough for a non stop shopping spree.
Francfranc THE POST, a new sub-brand, also made its short debut here emulating the joy of a post office bringing you presents and parcels. In this case, you get to enjoy the pleasure of getting small and fun items for your office, school, travelling or as gifts. The pricing is reasonable and the merchandise is Japan’s answer to Sweden’s Ikea.
Francfranc will open its first store a JCUBE in May 2012 followed by its largest flagship store globally at VivoCity in June 2012. It will offer a wide range of products from eight categories – kitchen and table, fabric (curtains), hobby and culture, kitchen fabric (apron, tea towels), beauty and health (soaps, bath products, scents), furniture (sofas, cupboard), lighting (including other electrical appliances) and interior accessories (art, photo frames and clocks).
Be sure to also check out the Francfranc collaboration line this season with Disney offering a stylish range of products in motifs of Disney characters. I spotted Mickey and Minnie cups, plates and other merchandise at the preview at VivoCity Atrium last week.
The flagship store will also get an exclusive range that is making its appearance outside Japan, J-PERIOD. J-PERIOD’s collection of small containers to a variety of home furnishings blends Japanese beauty and modern style.
Franfranc also joins Audi Fashion Festival Singapore 2012 as its Official Lifestyle Partner. Guests at the festival will be able to preview some of the latest collection from Francfranc’s Spring Summer 2012 collection in the VIP Lounge, Media Room as well as backstage from 16 to 20 May 2012.
Recreating a stylish yet practical lounge, Francfranc is recreating a visually impactful ‘salon’ at the backstage that is homely, fun yet befitting of an international designer for visiting designers, models and VIP guests pre and post shows.
Francfranc celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. It has 126 stores with 115 in Japan, four in Hong Kong, three in Shanghai and four franchise stores in South Korea .
