You will be brought to the nearby Lau Pa Sat, then to Telok Ayer Street a few blocks away where you will get to try out local dishes along the way.
Enjoy the local Chai Tow Kway or fried carrot cake served white and black. Be sure to come with an appetite. You can to sample quite a number of local delights including a nice hot cup of Hai Nam coffee with runny eggs and kaya toast. Or dig into a nice bowl of Peranakan styled laksa or mee siam and delightful kueh kuehs.
