Side Dishes

Right after the orders were made, the wait staff immediately served up six generous portions of complimentary side dishes which include delicious kimchi, spicy dried anchovies and some seasonal dishes. The kimchi is fresh and crunchy and the spiciness and taste are just right to open up your appetite before the main dishes are served.

Just like the side dishes, the portions of the mains are filling  too. With a portion of BBQ Spicy Pork Belly (S$18) and Spicy Kimchi Stew with Ham, Sausage and Ramen (S$38), it will easily be a full meal for a trio.

BBQ Spicy Pork Belly

The BBQ Spicy Pork Belly is lean with a flavourful spiciness that skinny girls also find delectable. You have a choice to bbq your own food or or let the chefs do it for you in the kitchen. Letting the chefs do it will ensure that your outfit will not smell like BBQ after you finish the meal. You will also be served fresh lettuce, grilled mushrooms, chili slices and gochujang paste to make your own BBQ veggie wrap.

Spicy Kimchi Stew with Ham Sausage and Ramen

Spicy Kimchi Stew with Ham, Sausage and Ramen is one of the more popular items on the menu, which makes you wonder why? The stew comes in a huge pot filled with ham, sausages, tofu, veggies, rice cakes and ramen, pretty much all the comfort food that you cannot resist since childhood days. Perfectly paired with the savoury and spicy soup base, you will be tempted to keep scooping and finish the whole pot even though you know your tummy can’t take it anymore. It’s simplicity at its best.

To ease the spiciness, try ordering the refreshing Crunch Crunch Pear Juice (S$4) which comes with pear pulp. Known for their homely ambiance and welcoming service, the service staff is attentive to your needs and the cozy & clean setting makes you want to visit Togi again to try out their other specialties.

If you are heading down to Togi Korean BBQ and Salad Bar from now till 6 October 2013, do check out TripleOne Somerset’s double deals and shopping treats to make your food journey more fruitful.
