Be afraid no more, ladies and gentlemen! After a long wait, The Immigrant DINING ROOM comes with a new concept that will take your breath away. I am not exaggerating here. Really. At the entrance, there’s a corner which stands a mini bar with Art Deco touches and full with all kind of liquors that evoke the energy of the Roaring 20s. The Dining Room itself has a semi-private alcove, both for smokers and non-smokers with the home feel of a 60s diner.
Menu-wise, The Dining Room serves the “migrants” even better with many choices of delicious dishes. The years of experience in a personal culinary and kitchen exploration has made the menu at The Dining Room stand out.
For starters, you can try something fresh and unusual. Greek Salad would be the best choice. It is served with marinated feta cheese (made from sheep milk) and some fresh veggies such as tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, green paprika, black Kalamata Olives and lettuce and also olive oil.
For the main course, you can choose between these three delicious dishes yet have different tastes.
If you want to have some kind of Bali experience and like spicy food, you can have Iga Bakar Bumbu Bali (Balinese inspired barbecued ribs) that is served with rice and hot clear soup. There is an extra serving of fried chili if you feel that it is still not spicy enough for you.
Wagyu lovers can also try the special grilled patty of Australian Wagyu Beef served in the form of a burger. Unlike any other burgers, it is served with Thai chilli mixed with sour cream. It surely makes your tongue feel a different sensation when you eat the chunky fries. Furthermore, the mozzarella gratin on top of the wagyu makes you feel as if one burger is not enough.
If you want to eat chicken, The Dining Room also has the unique Corn-Fed Chicken with Argentinian Chimichurri. It is a combination between the thigh and breast chicken and is served with the mixed veggies under the grilled chicken with Argentinian Chimichurri Salsa on top of the grilled chicken.
When it is time for dessert, the Mini Trio Fondant would be a perfect choice after you have been satisfied with those delightful dishes. It is served with three different assiette fondants; XO and Varlhona Dark Chocolate, Orange and Coffee and Hazelnut and Amaretto. What makes these super delicious fondants even more special is when they are served with the homemade ice cream. Bailey’s and Hazelnut ice cream is my recommendation.
The price range is of course really suitable for experiencing these exquisite dishes from The Dining Room. For starters, the price range is between IDR 60,000 and IDR 90,000. The mains are priced between IDR 70,000 – IDR 330,000, while desserts are in the range of IDR 65,000 and IDR 95,000.
The Immgrant DINING ROOM is located in one of the most prestigious malls in Jakarta, Plaza Indonesia, Level Six. Plaza Indonesia is surrounded by so many luxurious hotels such as Grand Hyatt Jakarta Hotel, Pullman Jakarta Indonesia, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta and Mandarin Oriental Jakarta.
