Synthesis x Oriental Remedies Group collaboration

Synthesis and Oriental Remedies Clinic collaborate to launch a new Herbal Remedies collaboration menu

Synthesis, a multifaceted establishment encompassing a restaurant, speakeasy, and lounge, integrates the profound heritage of Traditional Chinese Medicine into its core concept. It creatively transforms traditional elements to offer guests distinctive encounters through TCM-inspired cuisine and cocktails. The menu features culinary delights like Braised Pork Belly with Angelica Root and Double-boiled Chicken Soup with Cordyceps Flower. The bar complements the experience with a variety of TCM-inspired cocktails, including The Golden Elixir and The Jade Emperor.

Starting 29 November 2023, Synthesis will launch a collaborative Herbal Remedies lunch menu every Wednesday bi-weekly in partnership with Oriental Remedies Clinic, a patient-focused healthcare provider specialising in Traditional Chinese Medicine and advanced medical technology for effective treatments. The Oriental Remedies team consists of experienced physicians with a cumulative expertise of over six decades, spanning both Singapore and China.

Dine from 11.30 am to 2 pm every alternate Wednesday from 29 November 2023 and receive a complimentary wellness assessment by certified TCM physicians during lunch hours.

The culinary menu is crafted collaboratively by TCM Physician Shan Ju from Oriental Remedies Clinic, along with Synthesis’s Beverage Director Alex and Head Chef Ezekiel.

At the media preview we got to try the Hokkaido Scallop Ceviche and Grilled Chicken Satay starters and they were delightful additions to the meal. If we decide to revisit this collaboration menu, we will choose the Asian Spiced Duck, as its meat is bursting with flavours, not at all gamey, and exceptionally tender. Alternatively, for those who aren’t fond of duck, the Asian Spiced Beef Striploin is a recommended option.

Regrettably, some of the dishes featured during the preview won’t be included in the definitive Herbal Remedies menu. To view the updated menu, please visit Synthesis website. Additionally, there is a vegetarian option available.

The Herbal Remedies menu is priced at S$38 and includes appetizers, a main course with options of chicken, beef, or fish, and a daily wellness cake or a vegetarian alternative. Coffee and tea are provided. You can opt for mocktails for an additional S$6, juices for S$3, beer for S$12, or wine for S$10.
