SUSHISAMBA, by Sunset Hospitality Group, will open its first Asian outpost in Singapore this July on the 52nd floor of Capital Tower in the heart of the CBD.
SUSHISAMBA is known for its unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian cultures and cuisines, alongside its passion for music, art and design. The dining programme is helmed by the acclaimed Chef Kyung Soo Moon, the Group Culinary Director of Sushisamba, Attiko, Sachi and Hanu. Sunshine Hospitality Group is a hospitality investment company that develops new and pioneering concepts and acclaimed multinational brands. It has a presence in 17 countries across 25 brands. Its portfolio includes renowned concepts such as METT Hotels & Resort, Azure Beach, Ammos, Drift Beach Club, Black Tap, Luigia, Lola Taberna Española, Goldfish, Isola at Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse, Raise Fitness & Wellness, and many more. In addition, SHG is set to open multiple venues in 2024, including L’Amo, AURA, SUSHISAMBA, DREAM and Mott 32.
Ingredients are sourced from the best suppliers globally, including fresh tuna from Japan and locally based farms’ organic vegetables and produce. The menu will include popular signature dishes from SUSHISAMBA with signatures such as the Peruvian ceviche and the SAMBA Singapore roll, alongside sushi and sashimi, as well as creations adapted for local palates and preferences.
The 12,000 square feet interior of SUSHISAMBA Singapore is designed by world-renowned architectural firm KokaiStudios, sporting a stylish design that is sleek and organic. It will seat 250 patrons across multiple levels. A main dining area features a lively ambience, including a theatre-style open kitchen and robata grill. DJs will curate an eclectic blend of Afro, Brazilian, and Latin-inspired tunes, while vibrant Samba dancers and percussionists infuse the atmosphere with pulsating and lively rhythms. There are also three private dining rooms offering their own unique ambience and breathtaking views. The SAMBA ROOM offers a chic lounge-style setting on the mezzanine floor.
