Starbucks Reserve premium coffee launches exclusively in Singapore together with the opening of Starbucks’ latest outlet at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). Starbucks Reserve premium coffee will only be available in the RWS outlet which is also Singapore’s only Starbucks outlet where all the baristas are certified Starbucks Coffee Masters. Starbucks has no immediate plans to avail the Starbucks Reserve premium coffee at other Starbucks stores due to the exotic, rare and exclusive nature of the beans.
Starbucks Reserve is a line of limited quantity, ultra-premium, single-origin and rare coffee beans discovered by Starbucks coffee buyers when traveling around the world. Starbucks Reserve beans are available on a seasonal basis and in limited quantities. This means that they are available while stocks last. For the launch of Starbucks Reserve at the RWS store, two types of Reserve beans are available and additional single-origin Starbucks Reserve beans will be available over time based on season and availability:
- Isla Flores Indonesia: An elegant interplay of maple and butterscotch with woodsy evergreen notes
- West Java Indonesia: A sweet, herbal complexity with a silky milk chocolate flavor and texture
From today, Starbucks Reserve coffee will be available for sale exclusively at the RWS store as whole bean, half-pound packages or brewed by the cup through either the French coffee press or pour-over method. The retail price for 250g whole bean starts at S$22 and a tall (12 fl. oz.) cup of Starbucks Reserve coffee starts at S$5.30 using the pour over method, and S$5.90 for French press.
