Saturday high teas should be this relaxing with a six metre long dessert showcase of artisanal sweets, cheesecakes, scones, Teppanyaki ice-cream and lemon chocolate fountain. It’s not only about sweets. There are savouries too. Now this is reason to get out on a Saturday and head over to Hilton Singapore’s D9 Cakery to enjoy the Hilton Endless Saturday High Tea.
There are two seatings. The first is during lunch time from 12 pm to 2.30pm while the second is from 3 pm to 5 pm just so you can sleep in a lot more. What’s more the high tea is reasonably priced at S$41 per person with free flow of coffee and TWG tea. Add S$35 and you get free flow sparkling wine, beers, white and red wines. Kids aged between five and 12 are charged S$21 while children under the age of fine dine for free.
There’s a Raclette melted cheese station for the cheese lovers.
Go for the a-la-minute laksa or enjoy chicken and lamb satays, pulled pork sliders croque monsieur, roasted chicken tortilla wrap. Two of our favourite dishes are the Laksa and Satays.
You can decide whether you just want to have desserts or a balanced mix of both. Rather value for money, I have to say. The selection overwhelmed me.
Besides cakes and tarts, there is also a selection of chocolates with fanciful fillings. And for some showmanship, go for the Teppanyaki ice cream.
